"Take only memories, leave nothing but footprints"

Chief SeattleMulticolored Lights

Chief Seattle, a respected 1800's Duwamish Native American Chief and the namesake of Seattle, Washington, stated this profound set of words. I learned it as a river guide in Colorado as a form of reverence and respect for the beauty of Mother Nature and a reminder to leave it as we found it while passing through.

This website is the beginnings of the attempt to pass on the memories of the glories of people and nature as well as to help others with the task of managing and sharing those memories, either photographic or video.  In many instances the memories are captured on the new digital media, but the recall and sharing of those with others is difficult.  They get captured and stored on CD, DVD, hard disk drives, and maybe printed out only to languish in photo albums and reviewed if others ask or personal visits are made.  It is now time to take those memories of people and places off the hard drive, CD, and photo album and let your friends and family share in them over the World Wide Web.

Whether it is memories of people or places, it is critical that those not fade on the hard drive, VCR, DVD or photo album but be reviewed, commented on, shared, and laughed about with others who shared those memories as well as family members and others who would like to keep and pass on those memories to their family and friends.

Just as taking memories is important, hopefully you will find it important to leave those people and places the same or better off than when you found them.  This is the way we can all help people and places we Love share with others as they have with us.

Remember, sharing memories is actually passing on Knowledge
